1770's Robe a l'anglaise

Ok, so we're (imperial "we") looking for shoes on the internet. There are a few options we can go for. One is to buy appropriate shoes from Fugawee. Nice shoes, heard good things about them, would pay as much for a pair of repros there as I would for a brand new pair of modern shoes, so I figure that's a reasonable price range. The other option is to hunt around on eBay for a pair of used shoes. Back in the early 90's there was a huge craze for heels that were the right shape and height for the 18th century, and now that style of heel is starting to make a comeback, so I figure there's a pretty good chance of finding something for less than $70 online. There's only one problem... So far, I have found 4 different terms to describe the heel shape I'm looking for...

1. Louis heel

2. Spool heel

3. Queen Anne heel

4. Granny heel

All I'm asking here is that there be *some* kind of standardized term for this heel shape, because digging around on the interweb would be a lot easier if everyone could agree on what these dang things were called!

Anyhoo. I have managed to find a few pairs of suitable modern pumps with the right toe shape (pointed, but slightly rounded tip) and heel (see above). The idea is to take what I've got and cover, dye, and otherwise modify the shoe to be better represent the era. And if that doesn't work, I guess I'll just suck it up and buy a pair of shoes from Fugawee. :P
